Luxury Vinyl Flooring

I remember standing in my living room last July, coffee in hand, watching the afternoon sun pour through the south-facing window. It should have been a peaceful moment, but then I caught it out of the corner of my eye—a weird, undulating ridge right in the middle of the floor. My beautiful, brand-new luxury vinyl … Read more

It was a bright Saturday morning, the kind where the sun hits the floor at just the right angle to show every single speck of dust. I had just finished a grueling weekend of DIY work, and my new floors looked like a million bucks. I grabbed my fancy new steam mop, thinking I was … Read more

I stood there, sweat dripping off my chin, looking at what I thought was a masterpiece. I had just laid three hundred square feet of beautiful, slate-grey luxury vinyl planks. It sounded like I was stepping on bubble wrap made of plastic timber. My cat jumped, my wife stirred, and my pride as a DIYer took a massive hit. That … Read more

I stood there with a cold cup of coffee, looking at what I thought was a masterpiece of luxury vinyl planking. Then I took three steps toward the window. Squish. Bounce. Click. My heart sank. Every time my heel hit a certain spot, the floor didn’t just support me; it dipped and rebounded like I … Read more

It started with a sharp thwack against my big toe as I carried a heavy laundry basket through the hallway. I looked down, expecting a loose rug, but instead, I saw a jagged dark line where my vinyl plank had pulled away from the transition strip. It felt like a personal betrayal. I had spent … Read more
